Why DECLIC ?
DECLIC addresses the leadership and development challenges of young people and women in Africa, particularly in Casamance. The organization was created by a group of young professionals and volunteers who combined their skills to develop sustainable and inclusive local projects. Its aim is to strengthen the skills and leadership of young people and women, preparing them to become agents of change and reduce social inequalities in their communities.
Who is DECLIC ?
DECLIC is an organization created in 2016, made up of young professionals and volunteers committed to the development of Africa, particularly in Casamance and Senegal. Its main mission is to strengthen the leadership and skills of young people and women so that they become agents of change in their communities. Through a variety of projects in the fields of leadership, community and organizational development, DECLIC supports the creation of opportunities and sustainable development for young Africans.
Who does DECLIC work with?
Essentially, DECLIC works for the youth, women, and the vulnerable ones. And to achieve this goal, DECLIC works with national and international partners such as UNICEF, the US Embassy, USAID and local institutions. These partnerships enable us to implement development projects, build the capacities of young people, and support local initiatives to promote self-reliance and sustainable growth.

Leadership and Civic Engagement
Train young people and women to become leaders capable of positively influencing their communities. This means taking an active part in local development and resolving collective challenges for sustainable change.
Women Empowerment
DECLIC strengthens women's leadership by giving them the tools to develop their autonomy and contribute to the development of their communities.
Art & Culture
DECLIC creates and practices art to raise awareness of social and environmental issues. The organization uses artistic expression to reinforce the impact of its community actions.
Environment
DECLIC takes action to protect the environment and promote sustainable development. The organization raises community awareness of ecological issues and supports them in concrete initiatives such as waste management, reforestation and sustainable agriculture.
Social Entrepreneurship
Social entrepreneurship is about encouraging the creation of businesses that meet social or environmental needs while being economically viable. The organization accompanies young people and women in the development of innovative projects, offering them training, resources and support to transform their ideas into sustainable solutions for their communities.
